What’s “The Platter”?
The Blooming Platter offers a growing collection of recipes for creative appetizers, beverages, snacks, soups, salads, sides and entrees with a tendency toward ethnic fusion dishes, lightened-up comfort foods and updated classics with a twist. A baker since childhood, I also include a burgeoning selection of dessert recipes that will tempt even the staunchest dairy-lover. Here's to compassionate plant-based cooking and eating!

Hi Betsy–where do you get vegan fish sauce, and what does the container look like? Does Whole Foods carry it?

Hey there~it's usually called "Vegetarian Fish Sauce," but it's vegan and I buy it at Four Seasons Asian Market in VB. Don't know who else carries it, but Asian Markets would be the best bet, I think. I used the last of mine and recycled the bottle so I can't check label and brand, but it's a tall wine bottle-shaped bottle sold near the regular fish sauce. Hope that helps!
